Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Smart Update will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. Additionally, Smart Update may terminate the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeated infringers.
Please note that any misrepresentation of material fact in a written notification automatically subjects the complaining party to liability for any damages, costs, and attorney’s fees incurred by Smart Update in connection with the written notification and allegation of copyright infringement.
