BSF Group B Recruitment Application Fees 2024
The application fee for BSF Group B recruitment 2024 is Rs. 200/-, along with Rs. 47.20 service charges by the Common Service Centre (CSC). This fee is payable through online modes such as net banking or credit/debit cards of any bank, or at the nearest authorized Common Service Centre.
Female candidates of all categories, SC/ST candidates, BSF serving personnel, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from paying the examination fee.
Selection Process for Border Security Force
The selection process for Sub Inspector (SI) positions in the Border Security Force (BSF) Group B involves several stages. Initially, candidates are required to undergo a written examination, which is the first phase of selection. This written exam takes place at designated examination centers, and candidates are notified it via email/SMS to download their call letters online. The written exam consists of two composite papers.
The first paper, lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, comprises objective-type questions presented on an OMR-based answer sheet. The question paper is bilingual, available in both Hindi and English, and covers subjects such as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Engineering (Civil/Electrical). The total number of questions is 100, carrying 100 marks.
