WBPSC Food SI Admit Card 2024 Notice
There is only one way to download the admit card go to WBPSC’s official website i.e. prb.wb.gov.in. You can download your admit card by using the Application Number and Date Of Birth. Your admit card will not be sent through the Post office. Admit cards of the candidates will have to be downloaded from the Commission’s website at https:// psc.wb.gov.in on and from the 2nd March 2024 onwards.

Food SI Selection Process
- Written Examination: This is the initial screening phase. Candidates must score above a certain cut-off to qualify for the next stage. High performance in this exam is important as it forms the basis for shortlisting candidates and high weightage in the final merit list.
- Interview: The interview is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s personality, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for the role of a Food Sub Inspector. Candidates should be well-prepared, have a good understanding of the department they are applying to and current affairs, and have a clear thought process to answer situational and problem-solving questions.
Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
- The exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- There are 100 questions divided between the two sections: General Studies and Arithmetic.
- Each question carries 1 mark, making the total marks for the exam 100.
- Candidates have 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes) to complete the exam
- There is a negative marking scheme in place. For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd of a mark is deducted.
